More than a directory — a guide when you don't know where to start
Most pet end-of-life directories hand you a list and leave you to figure out the rest. We built something different: an AI-guided assistant, available on every page, that helps you work out what you actually need before it ever shows you a provider.
It asks before it answers
Instead of a plain search box, our assistant asks a few gentle questions first — is your pet still with you or has this already happened, would an in-home appointment or a clinic visit suit you better, is this urgent or something you're planning ahead for. Your answers determine which service category it searches, so you land on the right kind of provider the first time instead of sorting through a mixed list yourself.
It only speaks from real data
The assistant is required to look up every provider it mentions in our live directory before saying a word about them — it can't invent a name, a phone number, a price, or a service that isn't actually on file. If pricing isn't published for a provider, it says so plainly and points you to contact them directly, rather than guessing.
It recognizes when things are urgent
If what you type suggests your pet is in acute distress right now, or that you're in real crisis yourself, the assistant shifts immediately — short, calm guidance toward emergency veterinary care or a crisis line, instead of a long explanation. It also automatically surfaces local emergency vets and pet-loss support hotlines when you're searching a specific city.
It supports the decision, not just the search
Not sure if it's time? The assistant can walk you through a short quality-of-life reflection — framed clearly as a thinking tool, not a diagnosis, since only your vet can assess your pet. It never tells you what to decide; it helps you think it through, and always leaves the actual call where it belongs, with you and your veterinarian.
Look for the chat icon on any page to start a conversation — it's available whether you're just beginning to think about this or you need help right now.
